Sony Will Announce The PSP2 in Japan

Sony will announce the PSP2 in Japan this coming January 27. The Sony PSP2 will be joining the game console wars with the Ninteno 3DS as its greatest rival. These two game consoles are expected to be
released later this year. According to VG247, Sony will hold a "business overview and strategy meeting" in Tokyo on January 27 which they will use to reveal the platform for PSP2. Going by the codename VITA, PSP2 has been in the hands of developers for at least a year. VG247 published the first images of a development kit last November. Netherrealm Studios and EA have openly said they’ve been working with the machine.
